The New Taxi Bus is one of six new local services to be launched.
The Taxi Bus service is a new mode of travel for many people, and will offer the comfort of a taxi with a bus fare charge and FREE concessionary travel.
Two new shopper services will serve Marchburn, Prestwick Cross and Ayr Town Centre, while the 611 service will operate on weekends from Ardrossan, Saltcoats,Stevenson and Kilwinning to Braehead Shopping Centre.
Ayrways said "We have found a demand for services to Braehead and Silver burn Shopping Centres, and users are always very pleased when theey get the oppertunity of getting access to affordable shopping. AYRSHIRE NEWS Staff Reporter. September 2011
